Kiwi is a registered 2000 AQHA Gray mare. She stands about 15.3 - 16 hands. About 1200lbs. Kiwi is a big mare with a lot of bone, solid black hooves, and good muscle.  Kiwi's registered name is Katie's Angel.
 
Kiwi has a race history. She was raced at a younger age but did not race for long due to her breeders financial abilities. She did well on the track but did not race enough to acquire a SI. Kiwi has some of the best known racing pedigree on her papers and within a 5 generation pedigree. This mare is bred to run and boy can she. This mare is fast and very powerful.
 
Her sire is known for producing speed and athletic foals. Kiwi has a few brothers and sisters out there that are excelling in racing and barrel racing.  They are all well built and bred to run. He all so puts a great mind on the foals. Her dam is known for producing good conformation, mind, and speed.
 
Kiwi is a great barrel prospect. She had 60 days pro reining training. She is soft, supple, and gives to pressure. She gives at the pole and flexes to both sides evenly. She has a soft mouth. She has a nice role back, turn around, stop, etc. She has a very large gait that can cover the ground. She is well broke. She is light to cues and does not require spurs, whips, etc. She clips, ties, trailers, bathes, and ponies great. She has been used as a pack horse a few times and did great. She is not a spooky mare.
 
She is great with other horses and is not the dominant mare. She is a medium keeper as she is a big mare so I feed her more than my other smaller horses. She does not require any special care. She is good with her feet. She does not require shoes. She has clean legs and is 100% sound. She will vet check sound with X-Ray's. She does not have any old injuries or scars. Sound mind and body. She is great with and around kids. She loves attention and treats. She is ridden in a ring snaffle still as she is just a very soft and easy going horse, even though she has the quick, catty, athletic, and speed when you ask for it. She does NOT require a tie down, martingale, etc.
 
She is now started on barrels and is trotting and loping a very nice pattern. She has a very nice bend around those barrels and poles. She is going to wrap those barrels at full speed. If your looking for a PRO CALLIBER horse, here she is.
 
I feel she is best suited for an intermediate level rider as she is very quick and fast. Do not miss understand me. She is not going to hurt anyone, she is just a very athletic horse and I feel she may spin out from someone that does not have a good seat.
 
This mare has the pedigree to make a great barrel horse or even produce your next barrel horse/race horse for you.
